Hello MIT App Inventor Team,
I hope you're doing well. I recently learned about GSoC and was inspired by App Inventor’s mission and past participation. Since beginner-friendly tools played a big role in my early interest in programming, I am keen to contribute to the project.
I wanted to ask whether App Inventor plans to participate in GSoC 2026.
I have experience with Java and am currently learning Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android development. I’m also familiar with Git and backend development, and I’m in the process of setting up a local build of App Inventor to start contributing.
Any guidance on how to begin contributing or where to get involved would be greatly appreciated.
