Contributing outside of GSoC

Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask this question as I am still getting familiar with the forums - unfortunately I didn't get accepted into GSoC's 2025 program, but I still want to find ways to meaningfully contribute to open source dev here because I really enjoyed making an app here while I was applying!

If anyone has any advice on how to still find my place here and contribute in the best way I can... lmk!!

If you want to start contributing to the open source, then I think you should start from help wanted issues.

If you haven't already, you should get a local build up and running. From there, you can explore the parts of the code base that are relevant. Feel free to ping here when you have any questions.
