Yes I have the bluetooth of the laptop paired with the bluetooth of my Xiaomi phone
with your app, in AI companion, 'Error 507: Enable to connect is the devis turned on'
my laptop appeared in the list when I click on 'Select & connect Bluetooth'
with the APK:the same
So we know we can find and pair using BT Classic to communicate and BLE doesn't find the Laptop which probably means it isn't a BLE device. The issue remains the same - connection fails. I wonder if @ewpatton can shine a light on that.
Have you switched off your Anti Virus on the Laptop?

We have a Samsung Laptop, Win 10 64, that claims to have Bluetooth but it has never worked. I have not put any effort into finding out why as the WiFi serves most purposes.

bluetooth works on my laptop with plenty other device... I can send/receive file between redmi note 10 and laptop via bluetooth, I have JBL speker, plantronics headphone....
