this is a question about creating an extension, therefore you have to use the category #open-source-development I moved this thread to there now Taifun Trying to push the limits! Snippets, Tutorials and Extensions from Pura Vida Apps by [image] Taifun.

The open source development category is not used for extensions. It's used for upcoming development for App Inventor. My project isn't open source either.

I agree, the category name is misleading...

About the Open Source Development category

This category is used for sharing development progress for those building on the MIT App Inventor open source repository at https://github.com/mit-cml/appinventor-sources. Anyone interested in extending core App Inventor or writing extensions should join this group and share their experiences.

I changed the category, I just agreed with you. I didn’t want to start an argument over what’s what . Can you help me in the topic by any chance though?

@ewpatton the category name #open-source-development is indeed misleading… A probably better name could be “working with the App Inventor sources”
