Complexity estimate of AI2 apps and comparison with native apps

Hello guys, I am just curious if does exist some report or study about how estimate and measure the complexity of AI2 apps and eventually some else comparing apps designed using AI2 with app developed with Android native languages.

Thanks, it is quite old but interesting. I do not know how much AI2 is evolved since 2016, I did not use it in 2016, but there are some points reported as missing that now are not eventually using some extensions.
