Companion stuck on “waiting to get blocks” and runtime extension errors

Hello.

I have a problem with MIT App Inventor Companion.

When I connect using USB or Emulator, the Companion stays on:

“Running using the emulator or USB, waiting to get blocks…”

Also, sometimes I get runtime errors like:

“no such class: com.kenmor.chatbox.ChatBox”

I already tried:

- reinstalling Companion

- deleting extensions

- importing a backup project

- enabling virtualization in BIOS

I also think the project may be bugged, because some blocks and components still seem to cause problems even after deleting them.

But the problem still exists.

Can someone help me fix this issue?

are you using the latest version of ai companion?

Does the first option works for you?

If the usb option fails it could be a connection problem ( usb connectors are often abused )

For the aia try exporting and reimporting the project.

Export the aia and upload it here for some one to look at.
