I teach an AP CSP course using app inventor for the last 5 years. All of my students are trying to run their apps in the companion and they’re either completely blank when they load or they are missing major components on the user interface. I have never had this widespread of an issue at all and was wondering if there’s a reason/a fix.

We have just had an update to nb204, with a new companion app. Has the companion app been updated to version 2.78 on all the affected devices ?
Yes. First thing that I had them do was update the app version - still not working.
Has your class recently loaded educational course materials that change the Blocks Toolkit?
Make sure they are all set to default in Project Properties.
I wouldn’t know how to load education course materials, so I don’t believe so. Can you explain further?
my students don’t have project properties as an option.
Not the Screen1 attributes in the Project, but the downloadable Companion .apk file, right?

It says version 2.78 (build 2) on ours.
I just checked theirs - the toolkit is set to default.

iPhone/iPad. Been teaching this course for years and have never had an issue.
It seems to be a bit of a issues for iPhone users..
You’re right. Seems to be an issue with all arrangements. All of my students having these issues have buttons in a horizontal, vertical scroll or table arrangements.
