Como publicar un archivo en un servidor php

@Taifun Mire algunos comentarios tuyos acerca de este tema a ver si puedas ayudarme, mira lo que quiero realizar es enviar desde una app un archivo (Word, txt, PDF, etc.) hacia un servidor php.
