I noticed my previous post about my app Jazly was marked as an advertisement, so I wanted to clarify my intent.
There seems to be a thin line between promotion and sharing a project. When developers share what they’ve built — including tools, architecture, or even the app itself — it can naturally create visibility, regardless of whether links are included or not.
My goal with sharing Jazly was not to promote it, but to showcase what can be built using tools like Niotron, Firebase, and related extensions, along with real implementation challenges and learnings.
Regarding Niotron — while it differs from standard MIT App Inventor, it still follows a similar foundation and is used by developers building increasingly complex apps.
If such posts are not considered appropriate here, I completely respect the guidelines. However, clearer boundaries around what qualifies as acceptable project sharing vs promotion would really help contributors align better.
In my understanding the “AppShowCase” is not a shop window where to display something waiting that someone tells “oh really awesome”, but a repository where to show an app, made by AI2, comprising .aia and an explanation of the app itself. And that’s what Ive done in my showcases. I believe that we have to keep in mind that this community in aimed at “teaching” to everyone how to create apps quickly and easily. Therefore also by showing how an (even a complex one) app has been made, is greatly appreciated. So, dear @therealzuhaib, please don’t be upset if your post has been considered closer to an advertisement than a “pure” showcase. I believe that your ability to create apps will be of great help in future occasions.
