You haven't mentioned what operating system you are on. The main instructions for installing the Emulator are here:

There is an OS list on that page - select your OS and you are taken to a dedicated page that includes a download link.
Note, if you have an Android Device (Phone or Tablet), and your computer is connected to WiFi, using the Companion is a better choice because you can see how your App GUI will look and perform.
The MIT Server is down!
We will have to wait for MIT, it's currently around 5 O'clock in the morning.

The server is working again. It was one of the casualties of yesterday's on-campus power outage.
