Can i scan RSSI without connectin to ble device ? with bluetoothLE?

i m tryin to creat application with app inventor to scan for nearby bluetooth devices and check their rssi … i ve tried so much but didn t find how to do it … even i tried the rssi of bluetoothLE … does nt work … any help please ?

thanks friend for ur reply i ve try it same doesn t show results .. in fact i ve found the problem ..
bluetoothLE works perfect .. only prblem is that android v8 or higher bluetooth is moved .. so to see rssi results u need to enable both bluetooth nd location !
