Camera capture to take up 3/4 of the screen instead of being full screen

I have a button that when pressed will activate the camera. The camera opens and is full screen. Is there a way to open the camera and not be in full screen? I would like the camera to open and fill up only part of the screen, such as the top 3/4 of the screen, and leave the bottom 1/4 of the screen to display text.

this is not possible using the built in camera component
you might want to try the Camera Viewer Extension (update July 23, 2018) by @Andres_Cotes

On testing the Camera Viewer extension, I can get it to show the camera view on Start, and to stop live view on Stop, but that seems to be all it is possible to do (whilst still very clever :+1: )

Is there any more that the extension can do in app, such as capture an image? I tried Jerin Jacob’s component2Image extension and screenshotting, but both returned an empty arrangement, and the data event block simply returns “”.
