Are kodular, mit ai and thunkable the same applications?

I don’t understand are kodular, mit ai and thunkable the same applications?

No. Thunkable is very different, Kodular uses AI2 sources as a base, but is fundementally different.

But it is possible to start on one application and then change to another while building on one app?

Possible but unlikely. Once upon a time these Block based coding compilers used a common base. That is no longer true because they no longer share the identical components.

The general advice is finish your app with the compiler you started or risk serious issues. MIT App Inventor is the basis for many third party developer clones.

Why not try changing compilers in mid stream and see if your app works without issues on the other compiler. I would not.
