Hello everyone. As I'm a beginner and I don't necessarily want to deepen my knowledge of app inventor. This is general and I have a question. Because I have a d1 mini esp8266 module and a sketch for LED control uploaded to it. and now there is this thing. because I have to run the module first. then on your phone, select it from the list of wifi devices and then enter the browser (chrome) and enter the IP address to connect and control the LEDs..
Is it possible to create a package or a tutorial on how to do it so that when I turn on the power in the module, I will enter the app and it will automatically connect to the module and launch the browser with the given IP address (192.168.4.1). and then I will have my entire menu to control. this will make my task easier and I won't have to go to the list of WiFi devices and launch the browser to enter the IP address each time.
Search the community for esp8266, you may have to do some knowledge deepening though...
Well, it's better to take the easy way... and that is to create an app only for accessing a browser with an assigned IP address.
To a certain extent I agree, as long as it is possible to interact with the module as required to get the data in and out? If you have that setup then maybe share you method here so that others may learn.
yyy. I mean, in general, I don't know how to connect to the module via the app. but there are tutorials on YouTube on how to make an app so that when clicked, it opens a page with the website address (in this case the IP address).
so generally I don't have a way but they are available on YouTube.
e.g. this tutorial:
This tutorial was probably made by a five-year-old kid. you can hear it in the voice... it's a bit of a shame that I, an old 49-year-old man, will be sewing from a five-year-old kid... but oh well
