App retrieved from background after a longer time, initialized, but after a short time not

Hello! I've noticed that my app, according to some system, always reinitializes itself when I bring it out of the background, but only after it's been in the background for more than, say, three minutes. How can I set it to never reinitialize when I leave the background?
