Hi
I want the app icon picture to appear at the top of the screen when the app is activated to remind the user that the app is still active.
I did not find a source for this and thank you for helping me with this.

it looks like you are interested in displaying a notification...
your app is active while it is open... you might want to read more about notifications and when they are useful here https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/notifiers/notifications
