App Guidance Help

Hi Folks,

With a lot of youtube videos and support from this forum I have managed to complete the 1st draft of my non-commercial app - Thanks. Whilst I am guided by previous comments to go and read up on free literature that isn’t that possible for all and I battle to sometimes to search for something when I don’t know what to search or capabilities of App inventory. I am not an IT person…

I have seeked assistance from Fiverr.com (paid) and this proved to more of a challenge then i had hoped.

I am looking for perhaps someone that I will review my code and let me know of any foreseeable issues and some advice on items I am stuck with. I am more that happy to donate in return.

Thanks and stay safe

G

You don’t give us much to go on…

Fiverr is perhaps not the best place to get help (personal view)

You could share an aia project file of your app here, for anyone to take a look at, or I am happy for you to share it with me by Private Message (also identifying the issues you are having) and I will take a look, although I would say I may share this with other Power Users if they are more expert in the content than me.

You don’t have to take a paid course. We want you to have fun with App Inventor. Here are some resources to help you learn to use the AI2 tools. A very good way to learn App Inventor is to read the free Inventor’s Manual here in the AI2 free online eBook http://www.appinventor.org/book2 … the links are at the bottom of the Web page. The book ‘teaches’ users how to program with AI2 blocks.

There is a free programming course here http://www.appinventor.org/content/CourseInABox/Intro and the aia files for the projects in the book are here: http://www.appinventor.org/bookFiles

How to do a lot of basic things with App Inventor are described here: http://www.appinventor.org/content/howDoYou/eventHandling .
