App crashing upon Connecting to BLE

Hi I am creating quite a simple app to control a neopixel via arduino uno and the code was working quite well on my tab, but when i tried it on my phone via the companion app as soon as i try to connect my hc-05 right before connecting the app crashes, can someone please tell a reason and solution for this?

Have you tried to compile the code (i.e. make the .apk) and install it on your phone, instead of using the companion?

Why you are Passing Boolean value to Listpicker1 [No Need of This ]

best way is use as follow only.

And Please wait until proper connected message. when you got option for wait and close choose wait

Do not use Compinion . install real apk file.

use blocks as follows....
