Not actually, you should achieve the same result from both ways.
result was P.S: Should I install the Java SE Development Kit and even the Java JDK 8 update 301?
no
Now I did ![]()
Harish@SRIKAR MINGW64 ~
$ which java
/e/srikar/MIT App Inventor 2/Apache Ant/apache-ant-1.10.11/bin/java
I think I should:
Apache Ant

Apache Ant and set the environment variables again(if needed)Java JDK 8 Update 301 add new the environment variablesHope this is correct?

Your system is picking an incorrect java path. You might want to check you have specified an existing and valid paths to the JAVA_HOME and PATH variables for java.
If this is your java installation directory then yes
Yes, this is the exact dir in which I downloaded my OpenJDK
Once try this method
Yeah sure I will...
I got a doubt here that
uninstalling it means only uninstalling the files? am I right?
I am asking because:
one day after installing a software, I got to know that is suspicious and I deleted the .exe file instead and that pulled me into problems, later on now I changed into a new pc ![]()
Please help me with this @dora_paz
They're the same thing...
So do you mean, that is how to uninstall ???
As those are package files the uninstall tool says no java versions detected
off-topic, but that's a bad idea. If it wasn't a virus, you would just lose access to the program.
If it was one, then it would still infect your computer. The virus need not come only in the .exe file...
I tried this method, and I got my Java
Thanks Everyone...
I'm very happy
I even got my Appzard Offline instance

So actually you followed my advice given 3 days ago
Glad problem solved
