Android and Chromebooks directory

I'm creating an app with app inventor 2 and I'm making it on Chromebooks and using the companion the app inventor to companion and for some reason i cannot figure out how to save files to the in-app directory like the share directory, and on my chromebook it is represented by this: "My files/Play files/Android/data/edu.mit.appinventor.aicompanion3/files". Yet I cannot find what that would be on Andriod phones. I know the downloads directory on Chromebooks is represented by "/sdcard0/downloads" (I think) and by writing a file to that directory, I can write (but not read) from the Downloads folder, It recognizes that there is files there, yet it cannot read them (maybe it can but in my experience it doesn't)

Any way this is all just to say that I want the app inventor shared directory please.

Use relative paths, i e. /Download together with file scope Legacy

There is shared storage of the device and there is the ASD - application specific storage...
