Well, I think I won't continue to adapt my extensions to these idiotic targetSdkVersion restrictions. I've done that long and often enough. Now it's someone else's turn. There are a number of good alternatives to my extension. Fortunately, I have nothing to do with this ridiculous annual SDK circus on iOS.

Yes, my DownloadToASD extension does no longer work on Android 14+ (with targetSdk 34).

As @TIMAI2 said, I decided not to continue developing my download to ASD extension. However, I have developed a new downlaod extension in the meantime that can download any file to any allowed directory (Shared folders, ASD, PrivateDir / on Android < 11 with WRITE permission if necessary).

I think I'll probably release the extension in the next few days (if there's interest).

According to you, which already existing extension is best for copy from ASD and copy to ASD, which respects the change on Android 14+ (with targetSdk 34).

I cannot send either a .zip file or a .sqlite file via PM.

Put the SQLite file in the assets of a new (almost) empty AIA and send me this AIA via PM or just send me the download link.

With my new extension you can of course download directly to one of the Shared folders (/Documents or /Download). So you don't have to download to the ASD first and then move the file to /Documents via the File component.
