Add permissions to MIT Companion with APK Editor Studio

Hello friends,

I was creating an extension and it needed the .MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS permission to test app. MIT Companion does not have that permission.

• I downloaded a mit-ai2-companion-2-xxxx.apk from https://mit-ai2-companion.uptodown.com/android/descargar

• APK Editor Studio from https://qwertycube.com/apk-editor-studio/

• I added
  <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS"/>
  to the AndroidManifest.xml
  

  

• Now my MIT Companion with MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS permission

Yes, I've done the same thing many times.

Note:
Of course, since we do not have access to the (MIT AI2) keystore, the Companion app must be uninstalled before the customized Companion version can be installed.
