As an ageing layman, it appears to me that AppInventor is a user-friendly code generator. It would be interesting to see the code generated (would this be Java?) by a 'written' AppInventor app. Can this be done, and if so, how?
you can see the code generated, but not in java.
you export the aia, unzip it, you will find the code there. it's some xml and json format string.
Hi Kevin
When I export it the file arrives in my downloads but is only 731 Kb (surely much too short for full code) and right clicking it does not lead to unzip as an option
Rename the aia to zip so your (I presume) Windows file associations allow you to unzip it.
Thanks! Got it.
