Hi TIMAI2,
Your idea is wonderful! is a great solution. I will try it!
Thank you!
I want to use system default 3 dots menu to show user about screen or about the app. but I am unable to do so. In previous apps I have used these dots and they work but in my new app I have forgotten how to use these 3 dots. in my previous apps there are no additional components or blocks for this feature so I have no idea how to use it.
Use these two blocks to set and get the about screen
But where to place this blocks in.
I want it to be like this:
from where user can see APP version and detail etc. in a POP UP.
Fill the aboutScreen set block with your text (format with html) and then when user clicks on 3 dot menu, they select the About Screen from there
Nothing happens. Do I need to write text in some label and where to place that set blocks in.
You can enter text for the About Screen in two places:
Designer:
Blocks:
.
.
Then user can click the three dots and select "About this application" from the menu
Still nothing appears on the screen
Please provide your aia project, or make an example that demonstrates this behaviour if you want.
I have told and shown you everything there is to know (apart from formatting) for the About Screen.
Try using Default theme in project Properties, Theming, the 3 dots menu does not show in the Classic theme.
You should also check the ShowListsAsJson setting in Project properties for better list compatibility.
