In conjunction with the 2022 MIT App Inventor Summer Appathon, the App Inventor Foundation hosted the first Teacher Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding teachers who have promoted creativity, technological empowerment, and computational action through App Inventor. Thanks to the App Inventor Foundation's focus and encouragement on the teacher community. The key external factor for learners, besides their intrinsic curiosity and drive, is to have a teacher who is ready to answer their questions.
