Trouble Using Emulator with Bluetooth Extensions

Hello, I am trying to make an app to connect my Arduino with a bluetooth module to this app so I downloaded the latest version of the Bluetooth extension on the extensions site (MIT App Inventor Extensions) but when I drag the bluetooth to my designer screen, I get this error and I'm not sure what to do because I haven't even coded anything related to the Bluetooth yet. I following https://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/assets/tutorials/MIT_App_Inventor_Basic_Connection.pdf exactly and I'd appreciated any help.

Emulator with bluetooth

No, you need a real device. An emulator emulates. How do you expect to pair the emulator with the BlueTooth device? Regards, Steve

I believe you have to test it with a real device and not with an emulator.

As to the original inquiry, the emulator package we publish, which is built around Google's Android emulator, does not support emulating Bluetooth connections. If you want to test this, you'll need to test it with an Android device running Android 5.0 or later with BLE support.
