The Text box doesn't show Bluetooth status correct

the block diagram attached suppose shown 'Connected' in green when BT connected, and 'Disconnected' in red when disconnected. The latter can be achieved, the former cannot, why?

it does not make sense to use a timer to check the connection... once the isConnected property returns true, it will stay true, see also
