You can change the thumbColor in the > Project Properties > Theming. Or use the SliderTools extension from @Ken: All Rescued Extensions From Inactive Communities - #83 by Salman_Dev
Change your theme to classic, then you will have the older look of components.
Maybe build your own sliders?

Hi, since yesterday I saw that the slider has the ability to change the color of the thumb, but I preferred it as it was before... the colors are "flat" while before the thumb had a nice 3d effect. I tried to put the theme on classic but nothing changed. Would it be possible to choose whether to have the thumb as it was before instead of with the new version?
thanks for your reply, but I didn't want to change the slider because I would have to change all the code I've already created and I don't see why you can't simply add a flag allowing the app creator to restore the previous view.

I think the difference is huge and as you can see now it's really terrible.. I wonder: why do something like this without thinking that those who used it as it was maybe preferred it like this? I understand giving the possibility to customize it, but they should also give the possibility to leave it as it was... Now it's really unwatchable and I can't make the update I wanted to my app because I don't like how it looks now.. I'm really annoyed by this thing... They should put a flag to have the code back as it was before

Now it's clear what you meant. I actually didn't understand why you said the slider was different from the "old" one, even though you were setting the classic theme. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
