Is there a supported way to install MIT App Inventor silently via SCCM?
I know there is a FAQ section, but I can’t access the linked Google Group for ‘AI2 Silent Install Flags’.
I've tried to run the MIT App Inventor install with /S switch, however the installation never completes, likely because it triggers the HAXM installer during setup.
Is there a way to suppress or bypass the HAXM part of the installation? Has anyone successfully deployed App Inventor centrally in a school environment? If so, what method worked for you, for example terminating the (task during install or a customized package?
Also, is HAXM actually required for App Inventor itself to run, or only for specific features like emulators?
App Inventor itself is not installed, it is delivered via the internet and runs in your browser. The App Inventor Companion, which allows a work-in-progress project to run on a device (smartphone) is installed (on the device). As far as I'm aware, HAXM is not required for the 3rd Party Emulator BlueStacks. However, the Companion is better than any emulator.
