I cannot provide that; perhaps someone can get the new example funning in the Background using Itoo.
No buttons to push but the example app has to be requested. As soon as the app is turned on, it works but it is not available in the background. I might get it to work in the Foreground.

Thanks Steve, really appreciate your time but we're looking at different ends of the telescope.You're sample already does what I can do. What I cannot do is make it cycle. The call bit is completely irrelevant to me right now since the fundamental "ask me a question, here's what you said...", now "ask me another..." is not functioning because no iteration is occurring. It ends after 1 cycle. Once I've got that, the phone and file stuff I've done before - I built something with buttons once which was easy.
I found a sample called Hearing.aia in the forum which looked the part but has faults after it loads and a java error.
So, thanks for writing the code for me. I had just come to the conclusion that a 'silent' voice-activated app would be impossible due to the lack of event loops, so I've just started building a go-button answer like this. Bye
