My sound recorder is not working and wont record anything even when i enabled microphone

I cant get sound recorder to work. The app keeps giving me errors whenever i try recording on a phone. Can somebody please help me with this issue?

SoundRecorder - Error 802 illegal character with android10

There is a bug in the current release that causes this due a space in the My Documents part of the default save path for the sound recorder. You can work around this by setting the save path yourself, just save to the ASD. You can get the ASD path like this:

Could you please explain as to what isn't working? It may be what @TIMAI2 has given in post #2, but it may also be a problem with the microphone you're using to record.
