Although Edge is now based on Chromium, it's performance is still in doubt. Generally, I find FireFox to be the best performer for App Inventor. Chrome is also good for App Inventor but is a dated design and eats more resources. Any Browser you use has good points and bad of course. https://www.w3schools.com/ has good references concerning HTML 5 and CSS compliance.
