How do I start contributing in MIT APP Inventor?

Hello,
I am Utsav Jha, first-year undergraduate studying Information Technology at MIT. I was hoping to start contributing 4 months ago but I was acquainted to basic school level Java. This is the reason I took the time of 4 months in order to fine-tuned my programming skills so that I could provide much more value. I am a Web Developer proficient Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Express.js and React. I want to contribute to your community because I can relate with your idea of teaching how users can create their own app so in the end they can become independent. I want to teach people more about coding to increase awareness regarding everyone can code. I would chose to contribute somewhere in which I myself believe in. Hoping for a response.

How can I get started with contribution?

I am Smil Raj Thakur, an Information and Communication Technology undergrad, I have just entered my second year at Adani institute of Infrastructure Engineering. I am new to open source contributions but I am well aware of Flutter, Dart , JAVA, C++, and frontend basics of web Development also I have successfully completed Hacktoberfest which is a good head-start as I know the basics of GitHub. I would love to contribute to your organization but could you please tell me how to get started ?
