How do I customize or change the link of the app on the google play store?

Hello every MIT App Inventor developers !

I'm writing you today because I have a problem that I hope you can help me with.

I developed an app on MIT App Inventor and uploaded it on the google play store but I don't like the link of my app because there is my full name in it (Alexandre GISBERT) and the name of my project on MIT app inventor (Quiz_Unseulsommaire) but i would like to change it because it's different from my app's name.

I don't think i can change it on the google play console, i think it has to be on the project on MIT App Inventor. Maybe on the properties of the screen 1 ? But I don't know where.

You cannot change the packageName of an app that is already published on the Play Store.

Package name - how do you set a custom package name?

In order to be able to release an app in the Play Store, at least the following requirements must be met: The version code is higher than the current version. The packageName is the same (as the previous / original one). The keystore is identical (with the previous / initial version). The targetSdkVersion corresponds to the minimum SDK required by Google (from Aug 2021: SDK 30 for new apps and from Nov 2021 also for updates).

The packageName is: appinventor.ai_<yourEmail>.yourAppName In my case (example): appinventor.ai_<bodymindpower>.AT_pro

To get rid of your name from the packageName (for new apps), you need to create a new (Gmail and AI2) account.
