Help with Error 507: Unable to Connect Is the device turned on

Greetings,

I am trying to make a simple app that enables led 1 or led 2.
The block arrangement I use is shown in the pic below.
I am using an arduino nano and an HC-05 module and I am positive the bluetooth is working since I get messages on the Serial Bluetooth Terminal app. So why am I getting the error that the device is not turned on when I use my own app ??

Check if the hc05 module is not currently connected to another app or device. The led on the module must flash.

Yeah that was it. I was connected to the serial bluetooth terminal. I feel stupid. Thanks a bunch!
