The newly compiled FAST aix should be compatible with existing projects. However, as I have not yet verified this behavior, I will confirm once testing is complete.
I think that if you keep the old package name, it will be compatible.
I guess I should have asked how one goes about this!
I have a folder RUSHExtns with all my RUSH extensions, and a folder FASTExtns with all my FAST extensions (both in the same parent folder), do not really want to mix them up. How do I migrate a RUSH extension to a FAST extension?
It's very simple. Open the terminal at where the Rush project is, then run below command if you want migrate the current project directly without creating a new FAST project.
fast migrate
If you want to leave the Rush project as it is and create a new FAST project with migrating a Rush project. Open the terminal at where you want to create the migrated project. Then run below command.
fast migrate <rush.yml>
Note: Paste the absolute path of rush.yml file.
Perfect ![]()
Next, say I have this in my extension code:
case "webp": {
if (GetSdk() > 29) {
format = Bitmap.CompressFormat.WEBP_LOSSY;
} else {
format = Bitmap.CompressFormat.WEBP;
}
break;
}
This generates errors when I compile the extension because Bitmap.CompressFormat.WEBP; is deprecated (WEBP in CompressFormat has been deprecated). Other than removing the if clause, any way to overcome the errors from FAST when compiling ?
It might be helpful to use the @SuppressWarnings annotation with the method.
@SuppressWarnings("deprecation")
Perfect, once again
Thank you.
