Developing app for iOS and installing on iPhone

Hello! I have question to ask which is pretty important to iPhone fans. Is it Possible to make app for only iOS and install that on iPhone? Like it only shows download option for .apk (Android) like this.

So is there option for .ipa files (iOS Apple package)?
