Converting APK to new App Bundle?

As of August 2021, APK files are no longer accepted by Google Play.

I know there have been some early threads about this, but they all say that APK files still work.

Now they do not.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

The apk still works in an app; You still can build the apk, only you cannot upload the apk to Google Play.
