Blaze IDE for coding

Dear Everyone,

I am excited to announce the launch of my new project, Blaze IDE. Currently optimized for extension development, I anticipate expanding support for additional programming languages in the coming months.

Motto

This will help devs who have less computer resources due to its light nature while not compromising any feature of modern code editors

Key Features

  1. Lightweight: With a size of just 30-40 MB, Blaze IDE is one of the lightest code editors available
  2. Integrated Terminal: Seamlessly execute commands without leaving the editor.
  3. Rush Mode & Fast Mode: Depending on the compiler you are using.
  4. File Directory View: Easily navigate and manage your project files.
  5. Built with beginners in mind: If you are a beginner in coding, there is not a better option available.

And many other features to enhance your coding experience!

I haven't installed it yet, but from the screenshot I can see that the code is one color. I think the color code is the minimum to make the code easier to read.
The second thing is the nemerized lines of code, without it it is difficult to correct errors detected during compilation.
The terminal is the system PowerShell?

This is the initial version so there are many things that can be added to make the ui better which I will definitely include in the next versions!

I am already working on both of these, they will be available in the next release

Thanks for your feedback

The terminal is integrated into the IDE for a smooth experience

does this only support rush?

what language was this written in? (just a curious question  ) and are you planning to open-source it?

Do you have any plan for MacOS version?

That's a good question! Yes I am planning to release it for MacOS and Linux in a bit btw are you a macos user?

No it supports every compiler

i think this IDE could be cross-platform then, since it is written in python java and c, which means us Linux users could also use it

Other community members are also requested to suggest features

Doesn't it support Java and Kotlin languages? These are essential for developing extensions.

Here are some potential features you may consider adding:

  • Code suggestions and autocomplete.
  • Colorful IDE for colorized codes.
  • Code formatter.
  • JSON fomatter.
  • ...
