ho creato una app per android che funziona su smartphone e vorrei che si potesse utilizzare su Iphone.
Adesso è possibile? posso compilare lo stesso progetto andando sulla versione di Mit scaricata da apple store e ottenendo invece di un file apk uno compatibile per IOS?
al momento non riesco neanche ad aprire Mit su mac, mi da solo l'icona me lo fa scaricare, riavviare ma poi non si apre ma ricomincia sempre lo stesso loop: scarica-riavvia mac.

MIT are hoping to release it sometime this summer, so not long to go but bumps in the road remain.
You cannot simply compile an Android Project to produce an iOS App (much depends on complexity) and you cannot use any extensions (Apple Rules). There are one or two things found on Android that are different on iOS.
Once App Inventor for iOS is released, to run iOS apps on macOS you need to be running macOS Big Sur 11+ and have an Apple Computer with Apple's M1 Silicon (currently some models of Mac Mini, Macbook, and Macbook Air).
Otherwise run the iOS Companion on iOS or iPadOS devices.

We have published the MIT App Inventor Companion for iOS. You can download it via the Apple App Store on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) running iOS/iPadOS 9.0 or later and M1 Macs running macOS 11 Big Sur or later. However, we don't yet have compilation support for iOS devices, so you cannot publish your apps on the App Store.

non posso pubblicarla, ma posso crearla e condividerla con altri. io ho biosogno che la mia app creata su android e pubblicata su play store possa essere disponibile anche su Iphone (anche se non pubblicata su apple store) entro dicembre.
Posso farlo, è molto importante perchè servirà per diverse scuole e non tutti hanno android.
o devo usare un altro programma per creare l'app per iphone?

If you need an app for IOS quickly then you might consider using a different app development tool. However, I think that learning a new tool, and creating the app itself, may take more time than waiting for a new feature in ai2. You also need to take into account that if your android project contains extensions, you will not be able to generate an ios app from that project. The ai2 version for IOS does not support extensions.

Grazie il codice del mio progetto è molto semplice ha dei marcatori geolocalizzati su una mappa e la geolocalizazione del sensore di posizione per vedere quando mi avvicino. Secondo voi potrò compilarla a breve su mitappinventor per Iphone? E dopo sarà pubblicabile su apple store?

Sono anch'io in teressato a creare il pacchetto IPA per IOS. Speriamo arrivi presto la nuova versione di MIT App Inventor che permetta di farlo. Saluti, Tiziano

I'm pretty sure that's what's going to come eventually, since iOS users will need a replacement for .apk.
Maybe a PWA I hope
