I have download 2 apps, compiled (over MIT-App-Inventor (today) to my
handy with Android 6.
I start the apps, but they close immediately.
The System requirements say: Android Operating System 2.1 (“Eclair”) or higher
What could be the reason why the applications are not started but closed immediately?
All other apps (created in 2022) are working, on the same cell phone.
The unzipped app is 9.4 MB in size.
But after the installation on the cell phone it is 24.5 MB in size.
I hope someone can help me.

Maybe a bit of testing will help.
Create a simple app, just one button and a label for example, no blocks needed.
Compile and install on your device.
Does that also close immediately ?
I followed the advice, this "test" app starts normally.
Now I don't know what the problem could be.

No.
I only use switch function, text to speech and Bluetooth (classic)
I can't find any Android 5+ settings (devices) in my project.
The "Test" app I just created offers the setting above the screen.

You could use logcat to see what causes the error
