Hello, it seems that the spreadsheet component doesn't have the ability to add new sheets. Is there any workaround for this? Thanks!

Accountants have a manual workaround called Closing The Books, every three months, for transactions stored by date.
It puts a bound on the lookup burden you get from big data
You might need to preallocate empty sheets for the future.
Any other use case would be served by filtering on an extra column.
A good back end database would shard big data.
Thanks for your question. At the moment it's not possible to do this in base App Inventor, but there might be other techniques in the short term (using Google App Script, for example). I have logged a feature request to include this block in a future release:

feature request
**Describe the desired feature**
[From the forum](https://community.appinvent… or.mit.edu/t/add-sheet-on-spreadsheet-component/89117?u=ewpatton): A user inquires about the lack of ability to add a new sheet to an existing spreadsheet.
**Give an example of how this feature would be used**
Users would be able to create multiple sheets within a single Spreadsheet document.
NB: We may also want to add a DeleteSheet block as well for full CRUD support.
**Why doesn't the current App Inventor system address this use case?**
No such block exists.
**Why is this feature beneficial to App Inventor's educational mission?**
Students could each create their own sheet within a shared document for doing data logging.
