Looking at the amount of developers here and the amount of messages this post has generated I think there are 3 ways the members of this forum look upon this:

Not sure how you can infer from the posts made here that no-one cares or has no idea. So far, we have the Advanced Flow, ADB or non Google OS as options to install and run unverified apps.
There is also the student/hobbyist option as a free verified route for limited installs.
It is, though, quite likely we will "have to see what happens" when every obstruction from Google is in place.
There will, I am certain, be a way through this for AppInventor developers.
About grapheneOS in the EU and Canada this not an option the age verification laws will flag you right away and the police will be at your doors. We already tested this in the UK. This os is considered îlegal in canada you cant have it on your phone. Also banks flag grapheneOS as fraudulent software. So they block your acount. Also tested. This is really a hard pickle to counter unless we change how mit app works if we change it to pwa it might be worth it to continue to create here. This way we can test online as a web service. Then if its all good we can create the apk. And send it to google marketplace.
Not all androids have this option its geo locked for some places like the eu and canada. They really going to stop us. Instead of doing a clean up of all there own ads that 9 out of 10 are scams we made a test got prepaid cards and tried 10 ads on 5 different acounts and we got all different ads but we got same results 9 out of 10 ads are fake and scams. So google and meta are the ones showing and flooding us with thoses scams and now they say its us small devs that are the problem. We need to do something about this. I know that motorola is looking for a way to degoogle theyre phones also. To regain market shares. If anyone can get in touch with them so they open the hardware for devs to create a new os for it. But the problem is really with google they are a monopoly over the whole internet not. They took control without our consent. We need to mobilize and find a solution law suits for anti trust , monopoly laws etc something. We cant let them do this. The freedom to create is not to be restrain like this until they clean up the ads that are all fake ads and scams

That said it is not the only de-googled device, and most will not want to go down this route.
I can infer thi from the vast amount of App Inventor users and the small amount that participates here in this thread.
Advanced Flow, ADB or run a non Google OS is not going to work for my users.
I build small user base apps. How on earth am I going to explain this to them so they can keep updating and keep installing new apps.
For me and, I firmly believe, many other app inventor developers this will be a great setback.

If you are a commercial developer already publishing on Google Play, then you do not have an issue.
If your small base of users are only sideloading, then Advanced Flow would be the one time fix for each of them, you can provide full details on how to do this.
People load my APK’s from my website.

@Erik_Boivin Yes, we are aware about it and if you live in one of the 4 regions, you can install either graphene os, or lineage os on your phone and continue developing, but this is against google. So, what is recommended is Enable Developer settings;
