StyleTextbox

Set the background color, border color, width, and corner radii of the TextBox. Gradients are automatically applied when multiple colors are provided..

  • For solid color: pass a list with a single color.
For gradient: pass a list with multiple colors.

  • To show a border: pass a value greater than 0 in borderWidths.
To hide a border: pass a 0 in borderWidths.

CharacterLimit

Sets a character limit and triggers an event when characters are typed.

FirstLetterCapitalized

Automatically capitalizes the first letter as the user types.

InvokeKeyboard

Open the keyboard and position the cursor in the textBox.

TextPadding

Set padding on both left and right sides of the TextBox (applies equally to both sides).

FloatingLabel

Enable the floating label using the native Hint of each TextBox.

backgroundColors:

  • To make it look good, you should use the same color as the background where your textbox is located.
  • The textbox must have that same background color; using a gradient will make it look bad.

KeyboardInvoked

Triggered when the keyboard is invoked on the textbox.

RemainingCharactersChanged

Triggered when the number of remaining characters changes.

v1.2 September 06, 2026.

  • A function was added to separate text that collides with the right or left edge of the textbox when the alignment is set to left or right.

  • A floating hint text function was added, positioned at the top-left edge of the textbox.

  • The Padding function was removed; it was unnecessary.

I am getting the error
"argument is neither Class nor Type"
Even with the example project. It was working like 5 minutes ago.

It's working for me on Android 14.
Could you show me how you have the blocks?

Remember to refresh the companion when adding the extension.

How can i design my PasswordTextbox right now im using joedevTextBox extension, Its working just fine with my TextBoxes But i want to use it in my password textbox is that doable?

I have updated the extension so that it can be used with the Password TextBox, now you can apply the functions as you do with the normal TextBox
