Sorry I specifically meant checking whether the user gets the same message if they go to the MIT AI2 Companion page. The Android companion is built by App Inventor, so if it's a general problem with that device/OS pair, I would expect that you would see it for our companion as well since you don't use extensions for cross platform compatibility (which would normally be my first go-to answer).
The app is in an open public link in the Google Play Store:
Remember that the problem is with a Pixel 9 Pro. With others mobiles there is not problems to download.
The Play Store for this device says it:
How is the link for MIT AI2 Companion?
Remember that is not my mobile Is a mobile of ther user. And I need to clarify the test to do.
You are right, I don’t use extensions (the app is for Apple and Android).
Thks
Play Store cache
- Clear cache and data for:
- Google Play Store
- Google Play Services
- Then restart the phone and check again.
after releasing an update please wait for upto 48 hours.

Maybe the user should upgrade from the Beta version to regular Android 17.
Not availably in Germany.
Is only for Spain users.
Ups¡¡¡ It si possible. I will notify it to the user.
Is not this the problem. The user has the regular Android 17 OK. We will do the next test to delete the cache data of the Play Store and Google Services apps.
The solution of eAcademy has solved the issue.
@ewpatton The solution was to delete the Play Store cache. All in order now.
Thanks all
A lot of Thanks¡¡¡ Great solution for me.
@Ferran_SIMON You're always welcome ![]()
Interesting. That sounds more like a bug in Google's code and not something triggered by App Inventor specifically. Good to know there is a solution as annoying as it is.
