Hi everyone,
I am having trouble connecting the emulator in MIT App Inventor. When I try to connect, it says "The aiStarter helper does not appear to be running".
I tried opening CMD/server windows, but the emulator still cannot detect aiStarter. How can I fix this issue on Windows?

See the third topic for how to work around aistarter problems by starting the emulator separately then starting the Companion. Use the Connect -> Companion option after getting the Companion up and running.
I haven't used aistarter in years.
