How do I add image to a bottom nav bar?

Hi there, I want to build a bottom nav bar but when I set the images as vars, they fail to load. I might be stupid but is there a fix or another way to make the icons show. BTW: I am using the extension called BottomNavigation

Even if you use it as variables it should work , make sure that images arent too big

What is the max size, do u know?

And can I use Google icons
