How can I make my sprites move without pressing a button

I’m making a cookie-clicker-type game, and I want the cookies to move from the top of the screen to the bottom without pressing a button. Any help would be appreciated!

Use Sprites on a Canvas.

Set their direction and speed to get them moving.

Check the tool tips on the Canvas and the Sprites to determine which direction is down.

Does the cookies falling represent the ball falling?

The mechanics can be the same between Balls and Sprites.

There are two possibilities

Use direction and speed, or
Use a fast Clock Timer and increment the .Y value each cycle.

Which way would be smoother to look at in AI companion?

Speed and direction

Export an aia file and upload it here, if you want live blocks help.

How can I do that?

This URL allows you to open AI2 to the Project List, without opening any project.

From that list, you can request Exports of Projects without trying to open them.

If you require repair assistance, upload the aia file here.

CookieClickerProject.aia (5.5 MB)

You have a dozen cookie sprites.

Describe the flow of the game.

You're not just throwing a whole box of cookies at the player, are you?

How are you pacing the flow of cookies?

This sounds a little like the game Space Invader?

The cookies fall from the the bottom of the screen, and rarely, some golden cookies appear giving you a bonus (x2, x3, etc)

And unlike the original game, I wanna add the milk, but when the cookies fall into the milk, they turn into soaked cookies (earning your more points to get upgrades and more money

Here's your first problem:

Use this block as a list of all your Sprite components, if you want to manage a herd of them:
component_all_component_block

(it is draggable.)

This block does not work, it's just pieces of text.

I accidentally deleted something

Here is a procedure you can call at the start to reset all the cookies.

(also draggable.)
You should really rename that Canvas from BackgroundImage to Canvas1. It's confusing.

By now, you should have figured out that the Animated attribute of the Sprites is a red herring. It does not control movement across the Canvas. It's a recently added feature to take advantage of whatever animation (wiggling its ears?) that was built into the picture files. It's just eye candy.
