I’ve noticed that I haven’t been getting many MIT projects lately. Is it just me, or are other freelancers also seeing a drop in MIT work?
Are any freelancers still getting continuous/regular projects related to MIT?
Please share your experience or opinion here. I’d really like to know what others are experiencing.

We have seen a gradual decline in activity possibly caused by the rise of AI as an alternative source of information/answers, and/or the rise of vibe coding sites that generate apps for users.
And of course the new Google restrictions.

If you are referring to verification, this is not yet in place!
@J_Curve If you have no apps on Google Play (i.e. no earnings from apps) then depending only on AI2 projects won't help for long. There is some websites where you can develop android apps for clients, you can get clients there. You can also start a youtube channel where you can teach app development from scratch. AND Yes there are very few clients for AI2 projects.

This is of course not true as a real client does not care in what language/framework
the project is done. He needs something that works.
So, is the takeaway that MIT is still useful for creating your own apps, but freelance projects are increasingly shifting toward AI/vibe-coding platforms?

The decay starts in april.
I wonder if the same decay was in april 2025 cause the chart does not go back this far.
Maybe the decay is caused by summer/weather holliday.

These charts are about the forum not about app inventor itself.
I for one have been checking the forum daily for a few years. I just
never log in as that is not needed to read the posts.
Just lately I have been loggin in to participate on the google verification posts.
So daily users, posts etc doesn’t say a thing about app inventors use.
It even does not say a thing on how many users are reading the forum.
Which is where most people will find freelancers offering their services...or to ask for development help.
We do not have user visibility/online activated on this community.
