I haven't conducted any further tests with V8.11 yet because I can't test it in the Companion, which is important to me. The backslashes aren't in my original template. They appeared here in the forum when I copied and pasted the text, which I didn't notice right away.
Please show the full error message you get, @Kevinkun can see if there is an issue.
And the android version / device you are testing on?
I'm testing it on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro running Android 13. As I said, it works as a compiled app, but not in the Companion app.
Tested on my Android 13 Google Pixel 4a, no issues here with Companion app 2.80. Do you have another device you can try?
That's strange. Unfortunately, I don't have another device to test it on.
It's strange because, ever since the last Companion update, I think some of my projects in Companion have suddenly started generating error messages even though nothing in the code has changed. I can't figure it out.
